How about this one:
Setting your mines to make high quality gold for 24 hours.
Oops...not enough water.
So, you go to your wells, cut off production, and hope now you will have enough water.
First you reset your wells again making both oil and water,
you set it for 60 hours so you don't have to bother about it for a while.
Then you go back to your mines,
you set production to make high quality gold for 24 hours,
YES, enough water, hurray!!
...but not enough power..
You go to your powerplants and cut off production hoping now you will have enough power to make the damn gold.
First you reset your powerplants again.
Then you go back to the mines.
You set your mines to produce high quality gold for 24 hours..
still not enough power!
You go back to your wells and cut of production, then reset your wells for 24 hours instead of 60, hoping you will now have enough power to make the damn gold!!
You go back to your mines to make high quality gold for 24 hours.
%$#*& !!! STILL not enough power.
You go to the market and see power is sold for 0,23 caps.
(yesterday it was 0,12 but you didn't buy it then thinking you had more then enough)
You buy it anyway.
You go back to your mines and set production for high quality gold for 24 hours..
Finally, it works,
you started at 23.45 hours setting production for gold, it is now 00.30.
You swear, to never play this stupid game again!
(at least not until the next day).
