Top 3 Pet peeves:
1. Companies with names so big they break the page. (Or faxes so big they break the page.)
2. Research ending 30 minutes after I leave for work. :x
3. Ronintje.

...Ok.
I really mean: Forgetting to optimize a building and putting things into production.

Setting my buildings for 24 hours for production,
find out I don't have enough basic material for it (for instance wood to make wardrobes),

go to my warehouse, see how much wood I have,
divide it by 20,
so now I know how many wardrobes I can make,
divide that number by 3 joineries,

type in the numbers for production, (this time amount instead of time)

and then discover I forgot to enter quality so I am now making 36000 wardrobes Q7 instead of Q24.

OR: find out that now production will be ready at half past 3 in the middle of the night.
Especially great when making high quality glass in 15 factories..

So far I've managed to work it out so mostly production finishes around 11-midnight so I can set it going overnight. Nothing much I can do about research though!

yeah, research/construction is out of my hands too.

I calculate production with kapitools.de and make sure that production always ends between 9pm and 11pm. :P

How about this one:

Setting your mines to make high quality gold for 24 hours.
Oops...not enough water.

So, you go to your wells, cut off production, and hope now you will have enough water.

First you reset your wells again making both oil and water,
you set it for 60 hours so you don't have to bother about it for a while.

Then you go back to your mines,
you set production to make high quality gold for 24 hours,

YES, enough water, hurray!!

...but not enough power..

You go to your powerplants and cut off production hoping now you will have enough power to make the damn gold.
First you reset your powerplants again.
Then you go back to the mines.

You set your mines to produce high quality gold for 24 hours..
still not enough power!

You go back to your wells and cut of production, then reset your wells for 24 hours instead of 60, hoping you will now have enough power to make the damn gold!!

You go back to your mines to make high quality gold for 24 hours.
%$#*& !!! STILL not enough power. :x

You go to the market and see power is sold for 0,23 caps.
(yesterday it was 0,12 but you didn't buy it then thinking you had more then enough)

You buy it anyway.

You go back to your mines and set production for high quality gold for 24 hours..
Finally, it works,

you started at 23.45 hours setting production for gold, it is now 00.30.

You swear, to never play this stupid game again!
(at least not until the next day).

That is why I keep AT LEAST 1B power in my warehouse. Then you never have to worry about running out. But I have been there and know the pain. *$%&#$& power *($%#$(* why?!? *($%$%$

Well these things usually happen to me when I am very tired, or have very little time and want to get it over with quickly.
The sad thing is I can see the ending of productiontime when I type in the amount ( i am using kapiscript) but i am too much in a hurry to look.
How dumb can one be.

Yes you are right azer. but I get lazy and comfortable when i have a lot of power and stuff in my warehouse, and I don't realize how much power it takes to make gold, and then 1 day..whooops.. it is gone..

I'm opening my first power plant tomorrow, it's the only base stock that I have to buy from the market right now.

Hopefully, my market peeves will go away a little.

I hate it when I buy power for 0.11, then refresh the page and realise that only seconds after I bought power, someone else started to sell it for only 0.09...

One I just descovered,

People who simply send contracts.

Sure I may have bought something off you via the open market as a one off. I have no problem with you dropping Me a note ASKING if I want more but don't just send a darn contact.

It maybe business but it doesn't need to mean a lack of manners

My premium running out and then not having all my big buildings to get the cash needed 8)
