can u explain why ur steel is so overpriced? for those who dont know, you can always buy steel for 135 off the market from the NPC ... if u have to have the price of 155 to make a profit, i suggest a different product for you.

Oh yes it is expensive...it costs you 170c to produce it? That's crazy! It costs me less than 30c to produce steel. Something in how you're doing it isn't right, you should be making a LOT more money.

Nevermind that you're selling it for less than it costs you to make it. How are you planning to make a profit?

well, all i can say is that ur doing something wrong ... terribly wrong ... not to mention the fact that ur selling for lower than ur production, which is always the WORST rule for business.

Coala: 170/kg is most probably your calculation mistake. even if you are buying coal and ore at insane 12.00/kg you production costs are ca. 112/kg (green) or ca. 122/kg (red). But even at those cost producing steel is not profitable in terms of return on investment. You should swich your production to something else for a while (chemicals :) ).

If you self-suppling raw materials using the proper net market prices for your own coal (9), iron (9) and power (0.07) you arrive at production cost of some 90/kg meaning that producing steel at the moment adds relatively small value to the raw materials you are producing. But there are worse business segments in this game.

I produce my Own Steel and all of the things need for it and it comes to 170

there is no point of producing own steel for 170 when you can buy it from NPC or market at 135!!!

sorry for spamming the topic, but irrational behaviour leads to irrational market prices (for coal and iron in this case)
