Livestock
I think that the name of cattle breeding should be changed to livestock breeding, since they breed more than cattle.
Also, I really do think that you can get more than 2 pieces of leather from a cow. It seems like an aweful waiste of a good cow.
Perhaps 4 pieces of leather would be better.
finally, I'm going threw corn like crazzy, between biscuits and feeding the livestock, so I think pig food should be changed to anything.
as pigs will eat just about anything you could also feed them apples and potatos or anything else, so I think their food should be changed to be able to feed you pigs with any fruit or vegitable, or at least offer another option besides corn.
This would expand the use of rarely sold food and enable pig farmers to choose the cheapest price to feed their pigs, as well as releaving the burden of having so many uses for corn.

Actually some degree of substitution would add some fun - multidimension
corn <--> other plants/fruits as pig food
wool <--> cotton for textilies
various fruits as input for multivitamin juice
rubber <--> plastic for car production
vegetable input for biofuel
coal-fired power plants as alternative to the windfarms existing in game
various drinks/foodstuffs competing each other on the consumer market
etc., etc.
problem is that substitutes would require much programming effort exceeding the framework of the existing simple game

Brilliant post, dbsuma! This is an entire aspect of economic goods that is missing from Kapilands: alternate inputs.dbsuma wrote:finally, I'm going threw corn like crazzy, between biscuits and feeding the livestock, so I think pig food should be changed to anything.
