now thx to you [censored] i am stuck with 190k rubber lost 2 mil for placing it on market cause i had to buy it back and put it back lower again, and 12 mil less profit.......... so a total of 14 mil loss, thx to you all

I realized that it was better just to go on selling wood rather then Rubber. Then again I neer devote all my resources to a contest.

Don't be mad at the capitalist, they only wish to prosper themselves, as you did also, it was you who made the mistake of being taken up in all the greed and bet more then it seems you were willing too.

Though please, keep it civil. Don't lash out at people, if this were real life, at a poker table, you'd be on the floor.

This game is all a game of chance, chance to make profit, chance to make it big, and a chance to become bankrupt, lose everything you got, though you did neither, you just lost some money.

well this is the second time they did this.... same result with sausages contets and just makes me mad. first off i aint greedy . its obvious at the end that people strugle to get the top places and why the hell are people dumping there wares at 25-30 caps each if it stil got sold at 60-70?
i got 33k sold at 60 caps 5 min before it ended cause that was the cheapest then, but because people kept dumping lower and lower (wich makes no sense) i dident sold my 190k batch.... but if people just sold the rubber at round 65 like the price was for 1-1.5 weeks nothing was here to be angry about.... just explain me this?

because the don't want to be stuck holding the bag. i think, maybe, you are upset because you were out-competed. others dropped their prices in time to sell off their product.

personally i 'lost' about 11 million because i tried to make money early by selling rubber and then got bumped seriously in the end. i scrambled to find enough cash to get enough rubber to stay in the top 100, but i didn't make it. as it was i still made 8-12 million more in the time period of the contest than i would have without it. sure i could have made alot more, but i made some bad decisions. that's business. that's life.

But maybe the rubber was actually worth a little less than you were trying to sell it for. Near the end of the contest many people are out of money. Dropping the price moves the goods.

People are scared they won't be able too sell to somebody.

I mean come on, 5 minutes before its over ... thats close ... they'd rather make a 20c+ profit then not be able to sell it.

I remember before the contest, I wasn't ablt to make money off rubber, I had to sell for 4.80c

I too wish no one had dumped their prices, but I think the big compaies did it. They slowly lowered the prices from 75, 65, 60, 55, 52, 35, 25.

I stopped after it it 52c it wasn't worthwhile

EDIT: Look at the Rubber on the market place! Its back to where it was before! it's pathetic! Show me someone that can make a profit from rubber at those prices ... 3c!

This is a closed model of what's happened in real life every month on bourses.

What's your upset with it's the human reaction and emotions that make a price to move ( sometimes frightening moves) not REASON.

That emotions are mainly GREED and FEAR.

If you have a stock of something and see prices falling every second you SELL next second. If you dont , after 5 seconds you wished you would be sold that, because now price is down than 5 seconds earlier. Now multiply this idea hundreds of players who all are thinking same reasoning you think They are scared they will lose money in next 5 seconds and sell ... all of them...

Now, the price movement. Where they put the order for selling? Answer: lower than last offer, so the price will go down.

all that I just explained is from the supply side of market.

now the demand side. the demand is comprised by the bidding from active players in the contest. of course, they want to buy cheaper and sell product to contest, this way hoping that nearest ranking competitors will not send their quantities, and so he will step up in rankings.

but the contest participant faces some issues in those 5 seconds:
- he may have a LIMITED quantity of CAPS in hand and after he sends some product to contest he gets back only 2 caps, you know, so the caps he has are really decreasing fast.
- he sees the direction the price is going ( down) and that might stop him to buy at that decreasing price until price stalls for few seconds.

now there i really hope that you learn from this game for real life, as my esteemed colleague mentioned earlier, and i repeat this happens all the time into worlds bourses ( NYSE, London, Tokyo, Frankfurt) only theres not caps losses the min attraction there, but US DOLLARS, AND EUROS, and BRITISH POUNDS, etc ... and hundreds of milions of them every single day... lost by some and gain by others. you should be happy you're not a trader there, BTW.

And I happen to be in the industry itself, so im pretty know what im talking about.


and , do you mind the language you use... well said there... at a poker table you would sweeping the floor after first burst of anger at a weak hand.
