bann?????
sometimes i see steel sold at the market by new player for very low price and instantly the steel were bought by other players. i also tried to buy at first but my internet connection is really low, so i didn't get a chance.
i just want to ask this question that can we get banned for buying such low price steel from the market. if it is ban, why. the new player agreed to sell and the buyer agree to buy. both of them don't know each other, so it is not like cheating. It is more like taking advantage on the new player's knowing nothing.
Up to which limit can we buy steel. lowest limit for buying steel.
i have saw many time.......... the worst are
more than 3000 steel each for less than 0.3caps and
more than 3000 steel again for about 10 caps.

It's very tempting to buy that really cheap stuff. I would think that the buyer would be banned if they continued to make many of those transactions. It becomes very obvious after a few sales like that.
Mod's moderate moderately, meaning that if you take that next step you might find that you lose your account and all the time invested. Mod's do do a good job when it comes to checking all the market sales.
I am sure there are a few "temporary" players that think they have worked it out, but there are many more that have lost all their invested time.
Sleep well knowing that cheaters might slip through the system, but normally they don't get very far (before they are caught) and most cheaters that don't get caught because they don't cheat in a big way, start to lose their enjoyment for the game. Life works like that. If you are

Cheaters lose joy. They don't make it any hard for anyone else but themselves. The only reason anyone plays a game like this is to have fun. So enjoy doing the right thing. If you cheat you won't enjoy it.
Mod's are like the IRS. If they catch you they win, you lose.
Sorry, but do they get banned for buying the cheap goods?, constantly buying cheap goods from the market from different users? Or for using it to gain a profit? It's very tempting to buy that really cheap stuff. I would think that the buyer would be banned if they continued to make many of those transactions. And how cheap is considered cheating, for example if last sunday someone had just listed Gold Q1 for 60c(just after the contest was announced), would buying it be considered cheating?
Also does anyone have a link to the game rules, as I can't find it anywhere?
to sell below productioncost leads automatically to :
company deleted
and thats correct. i bought thousands of unallowed offers from market and send it to the newspaper. so there is no unallowed advantage.
youll never get a definitely price - what is cheating, and what not.
try out and risk your company, or buy at regular price.
sorry, steel at 30 isnt the regular marketprice, if all players offered 132 and more in faxes, only cheater or noobs sell at extremely lower prices to market.

production cost.........production cost...........production cost.
thanks for the replies....
how about only small amount, like when i got very low in cash and i need money for my new production. so i sell very small amount of my ware to get money, but i sell with the very low price so the product will sell very fast. then i got money for my new production. How about this one? it could be lower than production cost like table, it cost me 470 to produce 1 table and what if i sell with 200. there are many table on sale for 200.

I think what you are referring to is somebody with a multi.
They'll create a new account and sell everything that comes with the account, steel, stones and wood to the market at the lowest price they can, hoping that nobody else will buy it and their main account can snatch up some free steel.
Of course the problem is that other players do see it and do buy it, so I think that it should be allowed if only to discourage people from trying to do this, knowing that it won't work cause others will buy it out from under them.
I'm not sure why they just don't send themselves a contract, then nobody could see.
Others are just bored players who apparently just wanna create discord, having become bored with their accounts and amassed a huge amount of material, think that is fun or to just pass on the wealth to other players still playing and sell it all for 1 cent before they quit the game.
some are players just trying to dump their stock,
Since it takes 8 wool to make a pullover if they bought 100 Q4 wool they'll have 4 left over that they can't use, so they might dump it on the market at a low price just to get some money back from it and free up the warehouse space.
Others don't check the market prices before they sell and think it must be a good price, not knowing that it is far below all other prices at the time.
some people just press the wrong buttons and send by mistake, I've often done that but it is usually much more expensive, like sell power for $8 instead of $0.08
I think if you have an IP# that can be read then they know it is not you who are cheating but just taking advantage of the situation.
I once saw this myself, somebody creating account after account after account, with pretty much the same name, dumping steel, stones and wood on the market for 0.01, I manage to buy a couple of them but since everybody in the game had the same idea, I didn't get to much.
but I don't think this person was cheating, just bored and trying to cause trouble.

Look, folks, I do not want to see more good people who have been playing for real get locked just because they've been scooping up "deals" on the market and finally hit thier limit. Trust me, it happens.
And then I get a message saying "what happened, I didn't cheat?" and then the get reminded of all the times they bought stuff at 0.01 and how it adds up to a pattern, and then there's the inevitable "well I didn't know."
Now you do. Don't sell things at unfair prices, don't buy things at unfair prices.
