Production by time as well as units

Simple suggestion:

Lets say I want to produce on a 24 hour period, and my building will do 35,000 in those 24 hours.

Instead of inputting 35k, i just input 24... Then with the admin building you could just use 1 setting for all different building sizes

...there has been a proposal like this in the German version and this possibility has (afaik) been tested... but I do not know the result yet. have to look it up and will keep you informed

Just wanted to say, I support this option too...it makes more sense...I dont produce based off of how much I want...I produce based on the time I have...

I'm using an Excel spreadsheet to calculate various production amounts to get the outputs at a specific time of the day, and this kind of a change would remove the need of using that, so it would be a definite improvement.

It would be even simpler if you could just choose a "Produce until" time, like produce until 18:00, and the system would calculate the number of units to be produced.

Produce until would be more confusing, since we're dealing with 24 worldwide time zones, it would actually take me longer than using excel to figure out how much in X hours.

lol yes but if u selected how many hours u wanted to produce for, it wud be easier

I tottally support this suggestion, a great idea
