In production buildings, is there a limit to how much of a product you can produce in one go?
For example, I have a Power Plant. How much power can I produce from that power plant in one go? Is the amount I can produce limited? Or is there no limit?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

I don't think there's a limit.
the only limit you will probably find is your warehouse stock, because you need a certain product to produce another.

Yes there is a limit: you can produce 99.999.999,00 power max.

Good to know, thanks sally (Though it would only ever likely come up when I'm well advanced, large PP's and going to be away from the computer for a week or something)

make that 6.2 days (149 hours) with a powerplant of 5000 m2 in red.
Better take a long weekend, or a midweek holiday.

And I've a long long way to go before I'll have a PP of that size

well if you have a 2500m2 pp in red it would take you 8 and a half days, so if you have around that size or smaller you can savely leave for a week and be back in time before production has run out.

lol, chances are that you would have cancelled and restarted production by that time, cause you need power for some other production.
unless you really do leave for a while.
*I didn't realise that power has no requirements for production - aside from caps - but chances are that if you're still fairly new, you're not going to be finding any limits other than your warehouse stock for anything else

I think the only limits you will find as a beginner is cash.

LOL. So far so good with money.
I have about 200k to spare, and once I have made some good profit from selling power, I intend to use some of that money to invest in new Power Plants...
Which kinda brings me to another question.
If there is no limit to how much you can produce at a time, why do people build multiple same-type buildings?

Thank you again.

using stones as an example, cause that's what I sell:
I can produce roughly 3100 stones with one mine, which means I can sell 3100 stones a day.
if I have 2 mines, I can produce 2x 3100 = 6200 stones a day, and therefor sell 6200 stones a day.
if you have more buildings, you can produce twice as fast by having them both work at the same time, giving you more products every day.

thats right, and if you have 60 mines you can make 60x3100 stones a day =186000 stones.
(or more, depending how big your buildings are).
