The Netherlands are famous for windmills and clogs (those wooden shoes) and tulips and such.
People expect to see them when they're on holiday in here, but there's not a single windmill near Amsterdam
You'd have to be on the other half of the country to see most of those stereotypical things that make this country famous.

I haven't managed to see it yet.
there might be one somewhere in Amsterdam, just for tourists that want to know what a windmill looks like
but it's not a 'working' windmill, that's for sure.
unless it's on the outskirts of amsterdam where there's actually wind, but tourists don't tend to go that far...
