Name Change

Okay, I really really want to change my company name, but I just wanted to know - if I changed my company name, would all records of my Finances (profit, losses, income, etc.) in my Kapilands account be lost? Would anything be lost?

No nothing will be lost, you can change your companyname whenever and how often you like.

Just make sure your suppliers/buyers know in advance or confusion reigns

All your data is stored in your ID number, which stays the same at all times.

I changed my name like 5 times on my first day, it had no effect on the (little) financial information that I had.

Like Horizon said, if you have contract agreements with some companies, you might want to tell them about the name change, otherwise they'll be sending contracts to a company name that no longer exists.

If there are companies that have your companyname in their adressbook and you change your name that name will also be changed in all the adressbooks.
There was this guy once who changed his name thinking nobody would notice, but all of a sudden I noticed an unknown name in my adressbook, and it did not take long to figure out it was him..

He couldn't understand how I found out, ofcourse I never told him. LOL

Let me know your intended Company-name, I will check for you if the player is still active. If he hasn't been inactive in a year, I can make his company name available to you

Well, we can try it out right now.
Get offline for a couple of minutes and I will change my name into yours.
Then you log on and take my companyname.
