Tips?

Post by Guest » 04.06.2009, 15:15

I am about to start selling my Power in the Market, but before I do I would prefer for some experienced players in this field to give me some good tips on selling Power in the Market. Anything that may be effective in helping me on the way to success in the Power Trade, or just generally Market-wise selling. :)

Any help is appreciated. :)

Thank you so much to everybody who can help, and who has already helped me so many times, since I know this is like my 5th or so post already in this section. :D

Thanks. Hashim.

I advise that you sell by contract. :)

You will not have the 10% market fee.

P.S I buy power at 0.08 each in Realm 2. :)
I know you are probably in Realm 1 anyway. :)

I'll buy all you power.
.1 realm 2
.25 realm 1
When you are supplying me with 1 mil per contract we will have another look at the price.

Thanks, sergiu, I will bear all that mind. :)

podge, I do not now know whether I will be able to meet your standards.

First off, I'm starting to wonder whether I can supply 1 million power every time.

First off, how often do you need supplying?

Every week, every day, etc.?

And secondly, how much are you willing to pay per unit?

PS. I am on Realm 1. :)

Hmmm If *I* where in the power trade, after reading that I'd be talking to podge. Thats a reasonable deal IMO price comparable with market (sometimes .01 better) and without the 10% fee.... yep looks sound to Me 8)

Podge being newbie friendly with that deal? :)

Hashim, thats the deal offered UNTIL 1m, not requiring 1m... unless I've read it horribly wrong

Only advice I can give you is not to go lower then the lowest price on the market, it is a mistake many people make.
Power water and stones go very quickly so you don't have to drop your price, just keep it the same as the current lowest price, or, ( if it is a small amount/only one offer from one company) a little above the lowest price.

Example;
Right now the lowest offer is from one company only : 0,10 caps.
But he offers an amount of 2 billion power, so I suggest you just keep the same price as he does: 0,10.
No need to go under this price, it will go quicker then you think, and it is worth it waiting a little longer.

Now if this one company had only say 50000 power on the market for 0,10, and he was the only one with this low price, I would keep my price at 0,11 because 50000 power will be gone before you can blink your eyes.

Just don't go lower with your prices, you will only hurt your own business in the long run.

EDIT:
If you sell by contract , make sure you sell for a good price, which currently would be at least 0,09 in Realm 2. (0,10 - 10%=0,09).

Don't cheat yourself out of caps.
:D

Implying nothing... STATING that it is a newbie friendly deal.

Looks like podge is investing in good will by paying a little more for his power when you need it most (As a newbie) in order to get someone friendly and hopefully reliable once you get upto being able to provide 1m contracts.

To help you grow I will accept contracts for any amount. I'm online most of the time so contracts will be signed when you send them.

On realm one I will pay .25 this is better for you than selling on the market at .27

On realm two I will pay .10, again a fair enough price. I actualy buy power at .08 but I like to help out the new players.

send me as much as you want when you want. Once you are supplying me with contracts for 3 mil power we will lokk at renegotiating the price, up /or down.

No not that long ago at all.

I think the thing that would have helped me most was having somebody sign my contracts as soon as I sent them. I always seem to be waiting for money coming in so I could get on with growing.
