Control my fate

Ok, ive been in the power business for years, and that dream of becoming number one power producer doesn't seem like that great of a goal, so im asking for your opinion, Should i stay in the power business, or should i make something else. I have 51 (expanding) 9500m2 power plants, 2 power blants over 15,000m2, and another 30 something at 5620m2. If i could sell all of these for say (because there 75% in green) for 70,000per m, that would be 48.4 billion, plus the 1.6 billion i have that would be 50 billion dollars to work with. I also have almost every research, and i have a few other building that are 2-5000m2. Let me know what you think, i would really appreciate it.

I think you should have a HUGE auction and sell all your powerstations that way.
Surely many people in realm 1 will bid and I think it will be much fun for both you and them, + you will have loads of cash afterwards.

Since you already are in doubt about going further with the powerbusiness I think you should get radical about it and completely switch.
My experience always is that if you start doubting it will not go away but will only get stronger so maybe it is time for something new.

I would not get rid of all your researches, you might need them in your new business.
I think it is a great idea, and also brave because it is not easy to let go of what you know.
What ever you decide good luck. :D

It will be sad to see one of the major power producers to swap business, but it's life. I completly agree with Sally, the felling only will become greater, and before you switch business just think in what kind of business do you whant to move on (producing, producing and retailing or only retailing), cause you can need some of your power plants on future.
I also think that the auction could be a great idea, cause you can make more money than just selling your buildings.
Besides that 50 bill it's not much money, when you spend around 1 bill for a plantation with 10.000sqm, and other buildings, like factories and mines are away to expensive, without speaking in the selling buildings as car dealers, jewllers, furniture and textiles stores (only to speak on the ones that give high FA and big profits). So on my opinion you must first have a detailed scratch of your future business before you move on, in order not to loose much time on expansions and money.

It's a bit strange for me - how can you be a number one power producer if most of your PPs are in green? I thought that green PPs are good only for beginners, because they give better profit, but with expansions red PPs become much better.
Also, to say truly, I cannot understand power producers :) I think it's boring to produce only one product, without researches, without resources.... So, I think, you should definitely switch to another industry. I'm afraid that the power price may become a bit higher (if you are on realm2), but you will get much more fun from the game! :)

Btw, about selling a lot of buildings: I'm selling 17 plantations for a low price for about a week, it's soooo long. They are not big, maybe this is the reason.

Good luck!

She is talking about realm 1.
powerprices there are already high.
I think she bought in green a long time ago when powerprices were still low, then green is better.

I think leather jackets is in top 5 of most popular businesses after gas, wardrobes and jewelers. If you want to suggest really rare way, it may be something from beverages or grocery. I saw a player who dominates in orange juice production and I guess he is making a lot of money from that.

I think power can get a bit boring after a while. I think you should switch to something more unique...

I was gonna say myth... a she? :S

But yeah, In my well trusted opinion i would say move out to the power busniness- it ain't great i found that out on realm 2 :P You may get 2600% ROI but the rate at which the power makes is poor!!!

I think you should go into steel Q0

Or :P you could move into either a more profitbale but generic market (gas, wood, wardrobes etc)

Or you could go into a crappy market, but you would be controlling that whole market and it would be fun in my opinion at least! (for example beef(you have the Q32 research :P and you could use Farmboy's cattle ;) ))

But of course its all your decision- I went partly into Apples on realm 1 as i was bored with just making gas/waiting for my buildings to expand- and i don't care if i make a profit or not tbh!(I do though  5 caps per apple with a 200k rack selling in 6 days XD

The answer is simple: do you have a good customer for you product?
If you cannot find one - you definitely needs a store to sell your product yourself.

Hmm.. don't know actually why I said she.
Anyway, about what you said about selling to people or in stores, guess it depends on the business you are going for.
I can only speak for realm 2, but here going in the jewelry business is profitable when you sell it in your store, not to companies, because they
offer low prices, almost around productioncosts.

Leather jackets can be profitable (realm 2) when you sell to companies but there must be a demand for it, and there are not many people asking for leather jackets at the moment.
In stores they sell great.

Or you can do what Rasfast suggested, get into an uncommon business like for instance applejuice or sugar and dominate the entire market.

he cant monopolize beef market because exist more better beef qualities in the market, but he can try animal food, myth have Q50, its a very high one
