1 of my first factotys was cattle-breeding cuz it was cheap and i startet with milk cuz it was cheapest, and ended up with ice cream...

i also focus on water, power, seeds, wood, steel and stones cuz u always need some of it,but exept from the 6 basic...what is best??
I wouldn't call that focus :?
When you focus there is 1 item you produce a lot, not 6 items :?

Also i would say, quit producing steel Q0, npc beats producing it most of the time.
In R1 there isn't any profit at all in steel production.
In R2 right now there is a bit of profit when you sell outside the market, but still only 10c each.

i get like 10x so much 4 steel as it cost 2 produse it,but it's harder 2 produse steel than wood and stones...

Straw Man wrote: You're supposed to maximize profit per hour in your shops, and the optimal selling time varies with product. Gas is optimized selling maybe 70-90% of a shelf in 24 hours. Jewelry varies a lot and takes several to many days to sell a shelf. I've never run any other shops.

(Conditions change every day, so if stats suggest that jewelry selling has improved, clear your shelf and start again on better terms.)
How to calculated the maximizing ?

This message only shows me you have no clue what you are talking about...

Not sure if you are R1 or R2, but i'll use both to show you why you have no clue.

R1:
2x Iron ore = 2x 15 = 30
5x Coal= 5x 15 = 75
0.5x Chems = 0.5x 30 = 15
200x Power = 200x .25 = 50
Total: 30+75+15+50 = 170

I didn't even bother counting the production cost since this is already 35 above the Q0 NPC price.

R2:
2x Iron Ore = 2x 10 = 20
5x Coal = 5x 13 = 65
0.5x Chems = 0.5x 20 = 10
200x Power = 200x .12 = 24
Total: 20+65+10+24 = 119

You use a Red Factory??
119+15= 134
You use a Green Factory??
119+5= 124

Now tell me, how can you sell at 10x that price???

(And please don't tell me your resourses are less expensive cuz you produce them yourself, cuz that would only prove my point that you don't have a clue....)

I actually know some people refuse to understand this.

Recently i offered someone to buy his power at 0.25 on contract to help him grow as a small company.
He then offered to sell more things.
In the list were several of those products that don't give a profit (like cattle) so i advised him to quit producing that due to it only costing him money and i included some info showing that.

He simply put it aside and refused to stop producing it claiming he used his own resourses anyway and wanted to continue producing many products.

At that point i decided to just let him be.
If people refuse to make a profit its up to them....

Still, i'll continue writing these messages in this forum.
I've done it regular, but over and over i notice people refuse to get the point.
Sad, but if they refuse to make a profit...good luck to them...

*sigh* *sigh*
