The most interesting question would be: Where did you read this and who wrote it?VelvetQuim wrote:I read a very pleasant rumour that realm 3 was close to being started, with new products.

Re: Realm 3?
There was a discussion thread on the TiB forum at the start of the year, talking about how it was about to be released on the German site and expectations that we'd have it a few weeks later.GoldenEye wrote:The most interesting question would be: Where did you read this and who wrote it?VelvetQuim wrote:I read a very pleasant rumour that realm 3 was close to being started, with new products.
Hoping it will come, it is a very cool game, but a little hard to feel like you have a chance of doing anything when the big boys are gazillionaires

As for the new elements, they were talking about certain products: some to do with flowers/florist and others to do with bathroom stuff (as in baths rather than soaps)... i think. The discussion seemed to suggest that it would offer up new avenues of play depending upon whether you want quick cash or Fixed Assets etc., but i'm a novice on tactics as it is and i'm writing from a hazy memory.
Still, Realm 3... bring it on

I disagree...Straw Man wrote:Well, it will be hard to compete with players who have participated in previous startups. The trickiest part of a round game is the first day.rasfast wrote:It will be wonderful to start on the same level with the biggest players
When you really want to be on top you need to buy coins to get a jump start.
When you start day 1 and you don't buy coins you won't be on top anyway and catching up isn't easy at all

On R2 i started early, but i didn't like the pricing and i would have to be very active for to long to build up something decent.
I just dislike starting small while being used to a big company on another realm, therefor i Quit immediatly.
Now few months ago i started again and i managed to build up fast and my aim will be to reach a decent level anyway.
Coins aren't very useful at startup, are they? It will take a while for players to reach 60 buildings. In the meantime, the KL economy will be in a state not seen by players who have only played partial rounds.Ronintje wrote:When you really want to be on top you need to buy coins to get a jump start.
