Hello to all...

I have been banned by goldeneye... in his eyes i have cheated....
Also banned... RVF INTERNATIONAL CORP

i did received a contract with oil q1 +/- 650.000 pieces... at the price of 0.00 and i didn't notice that... i received this contract from rvf international corp.... we even made an appointment about the price... 777.78... and he made a mistake.... and this is considered cheating...

I'm very sorry for the people i have made business with ... but this is the end of kapilands for me...

ALSO REALM 2 I WON'T BE ACTIVE ANYMORE!!! JUST BECAUSE I THINK IT IS REAL SAD THAT SOMEONE GETS BANNED FOR ONE SMALL MISTAKE!!!

This is RVF International Corp.

I only now noticed that my account is locked, I can say that I didn't even noticed the mistake, the game could have a warning to say "Are you sure that whant to sell at 0,00", not that long message that after so many contracts no one read it any longer.

As i accept alot of contracts daily aswell and normally check them all but one might slip my eye aswell, there is alot of danger in it. Look at all the big players banned in both realms. Pretty sure it was not all of them their intention to cheat.

As proposed and backed before by numerous players. Somekind of admin building for contracts would help alot to prevent these kind of mistakes leading to bans.

I'm sorry to say, but it does that everytime you send a contract.

No specific warning on 0.00 tho...
Might be a good idea to get a warning when you really don't fill that one.
I guess he just filled the price in the other (market sale) spot accidently.

Still, whenever i send a contract i check and double check over and over again...

I do business with wwtc to and i doubt he is a cheater.
Maybe he should be fined, but a ban on the account for only 1 mistake is a bit much i think.

How about just giving him a fine and undo the sale of the oil.
That would already be a big loss for both of them i guess.
But losing an account for 1 mistake is to much i think.

Ofcourse this is under the assumption that there has indeed been only 1 mistake and it was indeed an honest mistake, but i have no reason to doubt that right now.
Why would he risk such nice company for a bit of cash which he already has enough anyway??

Goldeneye, please don't make a great businessman leave the game for a small mistake!!

I've had random companies send me products for 0,00c before. I never accepted them, thank god.

I have done some business with both of these guys I am very surprised to see them banned? If it was a mistake surely something can be done to resolve this other then banning 2 real active Kapiland players. Just goes to show I better stick to the markets. I do on the other hand have made the mistake of sending steel to a player for free luckily he caught it and canceled the contract and sent me an igm message. Maybe they should do something when sending a player contract that the market price box is not shown Cause that what I believe happened when I sent my contracts like that I filled in the market box instead of the other price box their one two many price boxes IMO.

Who reads that long message when has severall contracts to send and to accept? I may say that I don't (idiot me), I just click on execute without reading it.

I can agree with that, cause I haven't earned any money with that contract (if it was sent at the price 0.00), but fine WWTC? Why he have done the same I usualy do, just click on accept without reading that long and stupid message (once again idiot me and in this case WWTC for accepting it).

I also may say that a few time ago I have accepted a contract of Wood (85.000,00 each), and I and the seller just solved the question by sending the wood again at the same price (it had took us 5 days and we hadn't been banned), so why not give me and WWTC the opportunity to correct it. So in my conclusion stick out from the contests and from contracts.

It seems better to pay the 10% fee to the market rather than risk being banned for a typo. I approve of punishing cheaters, but if the punishment is the same for typo's it isn't right. It sure isn't fun.

This surprises me. I've found the moderators here to be very reasonable people. Have you argued your side of the issue with the moderators? I would think that looking over things, if this was the only instance of a transgression, then your account would be restored (minus the offending product or money for the product).

If this is not the case, and the mods are steadfast that you have committed an offense so grievous as to warrant a ban, then I would ask the moderators/powers-that-be to rethink your strategies in dealing with these situations. Good players are your revenue stream! They purchase coins, allowing the programmers to earn a paycheck and keep this game running. Banning them for frivolous typos or easily rectifiable mistakes is bad policy.

I also have a bad habit of accepting multitudes of contracts without reading the contents closely - there simply isn't time to do so when dealing with companies that I trust. Yet I still find mistakes are made: too many zeros in a prices, a price of 0 caps, wrong product sent, etc. All these things happen. I would expect that just as a history of fraudulent activity easily shows cheaters for who they really are, that a history of acceptable transactions would outweigh a single fraudulent transaction in determining correct punishment.

I remain optimistic that the whole story is not being told in this thread (as is often the case) and that in the end, the appropriate actions will be taken for the situation.

It was sheating... so you should get banned...

Not that they should have been banned but those are the rules... Yet, its stupid they got banned!! Admins should consider the facts : they have fixed assest i think both over 4 billion, witch means they know this game i think and the rules of it, and they have plenty of money.
