Wardrobes/furniture

Post by Guest » 20.07.2008, 22:42

I see that all big companies are in the wardrobe business. I have a few questions...

1)how profitable is this since almost every big company is in this then it must be the best business?

2) What could i be getting per a wardrobe if i sold it to the store?

Please if you could include other helpful info.

Im fully in gas/oil atm but would switch to furniture if it is profitable enough.

Thanks,

Well , first to answer your questions.

Your observations are right , great players are most of the cases into furniture. And it is quite proditable , but , there is a little cath...
The quality...
To make serieus money into furniture you need to have a proper quality.
Also , you can't beat the output / selling capacity of the big ones .

Still it's a good bussines.

Since your into Gas , i'd advice you to stay into gas , cuz its an almost even profitable bussines , but with a much easyer production chain.

do you know how much some wardrobes would go up to?

Not really , since I never jumped into the bussines , but I think you should sel them in 48 -94 hour shifts .

Try checking the stats ...

I'm in realm 2 with a very small wardrobe production.

I sell 140 Wardrobes for 2'100 Caps in 48 hours,
which isn't much, but think about a big company
with buildings 100 times larger than mine

OK, I sell half a store in 24 hours - because this suits me for logging on. Obviously a full store would take 48 hours.
All my furniture stores are 1500 (x7) and half the slots is 1500.
It costs me around 650 per wardrobe to make (Q13) and I sell them currently for 3500 - so the profit is substantial.
However, I make EVERYTHING in the production - coal, iron ore, minerals, chemicals, steel, seeds, wood, power, water.

so then would you say furniture is more profitable than gas?

Im looking at production and this is what it is looking like...

Gas prod.
buy power, make oil, make gas, sell gas at gas station (Really easy to do and profitable)

Wardrobe prod.
buy steel,buy power,buy water,make seeds,make wood,make wardrobe,sell wardrobe. (little longer but more profitable?)

obviously more money would have to be spent on wardrobes but a plan could be used.... Start making wood, research seeds, wood, and wardrobes, eventually convert your plantations to some joineries and then you got a production line. yes?

this will really hurt your profit margin in if you buy all these, you might be able to buy power and water but you should be making your own steel.

Also, could someone who produces wardrobes please post exactly what you need like Eg: if your making steel, then have a ratio of 2 ,20m2 Factories, 3 20m2 Mines, 1 20m2 Power plant and 1 20m2 well. Wahat is the formula for making wardrobes?

hmm... havn't been in realm 1 for a long time and have noticed something big.

Oil-100+ for my q10
Gas-30-40 for my q

Lookin around and looks like rpu did this? What was the cause of this? I think with these prices gas/oil would be better than drobes.

just to point out something important, with each gained (produced) quality of wardrobes you get about 5 times more profit (per employee per hour) than with each gained quality of gas. that translates into 3.75 times more profit per (researched) quality

the answer to your question is: USE KAPITOOLS U LAZY MOFO

edit:

for one 20sqm joinery you need exactly
* 2.0691202872531418312387791741472 20sqm factories in red producing steel,
* 0.12501402760632925597576029626305 20sqm factories in red producing chemicals
* 0.75010520999915832000673343994613 20sqm mines in yellow producing iron ore
* 1.8752630249978958000168335998653 20sqm mines in yellow producing coal
* 0.18752630249978958000168335998653 20sqm mines in yellow producing chemicals
* 5.5176540993417115499700777977259 20sqm plantations in green producing wood
* 0.1066812331088047577725800193415 20sqm wells in yellow producing water

OK for me:
17 factories 1000m2 (red)
27 mines 750m2 (yellow)
5 joineries 500m2 (red)
7 furniture stores 2176m2 (red)

The mines currently produce too much - so once in a while I do 24 hours of stones to get some quick cash.

The joineries to store is in perfect ratio at the moment - I no longer need to sell any adition wardrobes on contract.

want me to make you all the other calculations too, e.g. profits per hour for each building, ROI for it, calculate everything possible for all variants of buildings (one in yellow, other in red, next one in yellow again and then the last fraction in green)?
