Can the system send a message when something completes ?

it will be very helpfull since the clock for a task to finish isn't updating, so each time i want to see time left i refresh the page. If i order 2,3 or more tasks i shall practicly refresh same number of pages

I could only check my messages......
makes our life easier and takes a burden from the server..

The problem is, that if a production is finalized, you anyway have to click onto the production menu button, as otherwise the products won't be delivered into your warehouse.
So if you get a message from the system, you have to click onto the messages and afterwards onto the production button... without the message you can just click onto the production button and will see the productions which are ready...

Furthermore there are people complaining about the number of system messages they get and do not want to get e.g. the messages from the market, when they sold items there... that would increase the number of messages from the system.

As about what tycoon wrote i would prefer to check in my message box (thats why i pay my secretary after all ) and there is where i know that something finalizes. If i know that, yes, i have to go to production/research/sales page and make the appropriate arragemenets.
As it work now i have to refresh those (up to 3) pages (instead of messages page) near the time where i expect a task to finalize, and then if had a successfull guess , click again to take any action. If not successfull (ready in 0:00:03) i have to refresh again.

As about the flush of messages that proposal will create, not everybody owns 60 buildings but i agree that for some people is annoying, so is a mater of point of view and preference. I could extend my suggestion to make the creation of messages optional but i bet i'll sure get the "to much code work for such small gain" answer so i will not anymore discuss about this, the proposal has been made.

I'm aware of that this thread is for suggestions and not for orders, so its obvious that not any suggestion become a reality, but it might be a good base for creation of fruitfull conversation.

I have no idea, from which you know this, but I can promise you that there were lots of proposals by the users which became reality.

But there are, of course, also suggestions, which won't be implemented, and this is due to several reasons...
