The contest starts when it is announced in the KapiTimes.
The normal rhythm of the contest should be the following:

• - Sunday, week 1: contest is announced in the newspaper --> contest starts
  - contest running for twelve days
  - Friday, week 2: contest is over, prizes get send during the weekend
  - a contest-break for two days
  - Sunday, week 2: a new KapiTimes is published and a new contest is started
  - contest running for twelve days
  - and so on
