looking for a new market to discover

Post by Guest » 11.07.2008, 08:52

I look for alternatives. Fruit market and raw materials don't make me very happy. The first is not very profitable, the second is very boring in my eyes.

In which (non-raw-)market would you invest with a bankroll of around 1.2 million caps and the aim to gain more than 50k/day?

I will tell you more about my ideas in later posts. I don't want to guide the answers in a direction now ;) Please answer much and free!

anything you can see someone working on it in "stats" page, and with a relatively short supply chain will do.

even though raw materials might seem boring, they are profitable enough at q0, so my advice to you would be to pick some end product that sells, like gas, wardrobes, chemical factory products, jewelry, chickens etc. and research some quality BEFORE you actually start producing. all these products at q0 are not as profitable as raw materials

The only catch is it's so popular that A) quality has gone up a bit, and B) there's a risk someday of having so much the supply outpaces demand. (If that happens, selling time will crash and it's bad for all sellers.)
* Wardrobes. This one stands out because it uses steel. Steel like I said is expensive, and often it's better to sell it for building than use it in contstruction. But in this case, there's a good amount of profit to make so it might be worthwhile. Especially if you make higher quality wood and steel.
* Monitors. I think when he plays that the forum mod Tycoon makes these. There are a couple steps needed to make these but they mostly use the same factories and the price at the end is pretty decent.
* Leather Jackets. Sometimes you can make extra profit because like I explained, people sell cattle below cost. But even if they don't, using leather and cotton/textiles to make jackets is pretty profitable.
Generally this is accepted as true and still correct.
I'm currently in the wardrobe business - and I am expanding quickly, so guess this is a recommendation.
I've also tried leather jackets and really enjoyed this industry too.
Raw materials are dull - variety is the spice of life (and this game) making things with a couple of steps involved is more fun. Although there are a lot of people who just make power and they seem to have fun too!!
