Penalize untrustworthy players!
well, i have encountered such a problem many times
i had reached an agreement with another company on a certain bulk of goods and its price
i send the contract and he rejected it
furthermore,
somtimes people who had won an auction and they cancel that contract
saying they dont have enough money
I really hate those kind of players and their act of dishonesty
I think there should be some kind of penalizing system to penalize these kind of players
I don't know how at the moment
but i hope poeple will come and give their opinion
I will help in all possible ways to achieve this

that is a good way of doing it
the other way is that I think there should be a place to complain about this problem
not waiting for the mods to do them themselves
there should be a section in the forum to report these unfair trading
or possibly allow other players to poll whether this dude should be penialized or not ( liek a commmon jury council)

i think there should be like a law an order thing like people who dont accept what they asked for should get either sued or find.Gevron Enterprises wrote:well, i have encountered such a problem many times

I am guessing that the contracts would be made in-game. So, no matter what you say on the forum the company that you are intimidating would still have to accept the contract in game.Trader wrote:Now what if I make an account on the forums, pretending to be someone else then agree on a contract with another company just so I can get the company I'm imitating in to trouble.

Thats business people, get used to it. Being on the internet makes it even worse, because its a game!Gevron Enterprises wrote:well, i have encountered such a problem many times

..you should be happy about such thing
You will be one of TOP 10 in this list Advanced Electrics
Maybe there could be created group of ppl (or call then judges) and they will have theyr own topics where other players could send a post with theyr problems.
For example: if 2 players make a deal in game and buyer is not accepting contracts or otherhow sabboting fluent flow of game. Seller will post deal they had to "judge topic" and they solve it that buyer will had to buy all contracts + contracts for 7 days that will be send will have +25% price increase as appology. If buyer wil not sing it, he will get ban on forum + his in game company name will be added to list.
..or if sellers is sending contracts for higher prices as both sides agreed.
This way could be also solving auctions and other deals.
Such list would be great, because if I will want to make any new deal and that person will be on this list, it will be only on me if I will try to make new deal with such company and risk troubles, or better to look for another one.
Or for making bad things on forum = ban on forum and for not fulfiling deals in game these players could be somehow marked (for example they will have red names or anything else telling others to be more carreful in dealinf with these person).

What if this would happen: I buy stones from market from few sellers. Then they send me contracts of example 5000 stones to me buy them, on higher price than in market? I would not buy them, and i would be banned for that? Not fair. Acually that stone thing has happend to me already, so its possible, but i recejted the contract

Like the idea but say this happens:
Im agreeing with company X to buy X amount of power off them daily for 0.15 caps.
After 1week of purchasing X amount of power from company X @0.15 i see the market has changed and dropped to 0.09 on average. Therefore i send a mail to company X telling him of the change and that i wish to purchase X amount of power at a lower price and he ignores the mail and continues to send contracts@0.15 yet i reject them-in favour of buying off the market-would i be penilized? we've agreed but circumstances have changed the market changes so this wont be possible tbh

Advanced Electrics: It is nothing personel, but it is way you play.
felixbluindustries: in such case would be really insane to accept such contracts (0,15 caps price send by contracts and 0,09 price on market).
You had deal, but prices had changes, so from your side it is right to ask for price correction and if your supplyer do not want to sell you cheaper, you have right to cancel deal withouth any penalty.
lap101: bad thing on market is 10% tax, so few ppl send small ware of goods on market (for example stones) with price 22. They get only 19,8 caps and 2,2 stays on matker as tax. So to make extra caps, they send you contracts at 22 caps. On maket they get only 90% caps, but by contract 99.99%. Therefore such "unwanted/wanted" contracts. It is only up to you if you will sign them or not.

The way I play? I closed one of my many auctions early. End of argument.snapser wrote:Advanced Electrics: It is nothing personel, but it is way you play.

Also there will never be anything like this implemented.
