Keep the Advertisement price up

Post by Guest » 02.03.2007, 22:48

You produce advertisements? It is really not an easy product. So let us keep the price up and earn a lot of money with it,all.
Let us say no advertisement sell on market under 83/point at the moment. If we don't sell under this price all we will all earn good money with it. If everybody tries to be cheaper than the other one the price will go down very fast.

So let us keep the advertisement price!

At the moment min. 83/point at market!

Who will keep the price with me? Write a post here with your Company name

Andy (AndyMs Company)

this is wrong! in the real world you couldnt fix the prices on the stock market! all you are doing is making it harder for new players to make money, because it will cost them too much to buy off the market and building every building they need is also too expensive! so you should stop otherwise it will ruin the game for newbies.

sorry, this game is a business simulation.

do you know, how expensive is research of advertisement?
new players build a tv-station and no research. we invest a lot of money, to increase the quality. and so the money must return.

new players should produce easier goods, so they earn money.

You should also take into consideration that newbies do not necessarily need advertisements in their shops. At the beginning, it is also recommended to expand the shops. Most players begin to put ads into their shops from a size of 100 m2 onwards...

yes you have to see that ads are very expensive to research and to make so it is right to have a compensation plus newbies don t buy ads they buy buildings so we are not affecting the newbie market!!!

also in the real world when you have a monopoly, then the price is fixed by the monopoly (of courswe it has rules but you have no choice)

for example in my country there is only 1 power supplier so this company put the price he want for power and you have no choice than to pay for the power cause you need it to have a life!!!

I don't really care much for the ad prices at the moment. It is quite normal to ask a high price for it because it does take time to research it into a good and really decent level, and at the moment there aren't that much producers who have high quality ads.

I think the reason why new users are buying the ads is because just like me they were confused as to how the ads really work. It is quite confusing and the help files aren't explained exhaustively. Once we get more players that join the forums to make it really active, they'll stumble onto the threads here that explain clearer the effects and advantages of ads, and which qualities and prices give them most for their caps. Then it will be most likely that the high-quality ads will be preferred than the q0 ones.

I am still relatively new and I don't have a very large store yet so I'm just researching my ad quality till I need to produce them. I'm not really buying them from the market yet because I'm just selling a few stuff in the in-game stores mostly just to clear my inventory. :) Most of my profit at this point I know I will get from trading with other players.
