Re: Unit price bugs

Most of my unit prices are wrong today. For instance, steel shows a 580.xx unit price, where it has been running around 16.40. Most of my others have this error as well.

Over the last couple of days, I've noticed that the unit prices are starting to come back down. The problem seems to be linked to the power price. If that is wrong, then all products produced from power are wrong as well.

Prices may change according to market demands, maybe that's the reason ...

I have the same problem. For some reason the energy in my warehouse keeps jumping up in price. I even sold every unit and restocked, but it jumped up again! I have a plant in the green zone, so it's made at only .01

i just want to post in case people read here and haven't read the threads about real value of products

the price in the warehouse does not tell the value of a product or production cost of the final product (there are exceptions, if in doubt, you're not an exception), this number tells the cash you have spent to produce a product

but this is the section for bug reports, so for everyone who don't know what i'm talking about read http://www.forum.kapilands.com/viewtopi ... ght=#20509 or the other parts of the guide to guides and helpful threads available in the questions and beginner help part of the forum
then a suitable place to take the discussion would probably be the general forum or questions and beginner help, i want to avoid a discussion in this part of the forum

This isn't a discussion, this is a bug.

As I understand it - please correct me if I'm wrong - but in the Warehouse, the amount under "

It may possibly be linked to when I canceled production early - (i.e. I meant to schedule end-of-production for 15 hrs away but did 16 hrs by accident, so I canceled almost immediately and entered the correct amount.

So I'm thinking the math went something like this.... I initially scheduled 255000 units, costing 255

actually that is exactly the way the warehouse works

this has been discussed before, but well, making the refund at cancel count into the calculations wouldn't be a bad idea

Yes, it would make sense if it at least subtracted the refund before it divvied up the unit cost... I assume I might have lost some money for canceling early (not sure how complete the refund is) but I'm pretty dang sure it wasn't 1.44/unit!
