can you sell to an npc like you would normaly sell to a regular player?

Yes, build some sale buildings. You then can sell to an npc through the building.

Yep, sale building, like AE stated. Here, they are mostly sold for more money than what they could be sold for to other players. Otherwise, why would you spend more money in the construction of stores when you can make the same without them.

Stores should be placed in areas with high population and demand level for the items you want to sell so you make the most profit. In many cases, this is perfectly filled within the red areas. Also, remember that there is a fee to transport items from your warehouse to your stores if your stores are not in the same area as your warehouse. It is minimal, but should be accounted for and noticed.
