HIDE the URL just www.kapiland.com

this can be done very easily it is just a thing to make the url look better because some look really nasty!!!

don t tell me you can do it cause i do php,mysql and html so if you want to know how just tell me and i will help you, i have done it recently and it worked!!

For the game i just type kapilands.com

For the forums i just type forum.kapilands.com

I don't really think its ugly....

he means, after clicking and clicking through the game window you end up with a long URL with a mishmash of numbers and letters being exactly where you are ... this link also allows anyone into your account if you give them that url (i read in the bug fourm) ...
hiding it, by use of frames, would minimize the security risk posed. and ALWAYS keep the URL at www.kapilands.com/main.php4 but the rest of the address (/page=blah blah blah) would be hidden.

if the only reason he wants it done is because its 'ugly' then dont do it... lol keep it ugly, i like it.

it is exactly what i mean by the use of frames you just mask it so the risk is less than before but the risk is still here

you can use a frame but still use the url to get to your account which i find a great lack of security

it is very rare that you pass that kind of informacion (informacion about the user session and pass) using $_GET usually you have to use $_SESSION which are more safer than the get because with the get you have all the informacion in the url

well it is just to make the game safer!! i don t want to bother or telling you how to do it, i am just pointing out floads and i can help fix them if you need help
