I am new and just wondering about this game... what happens when people buy an end product such as a computer or car??? Do they get points for that or do they put it into a building or what?
I can see selling plastic and power to make computers but why do people buy the end products?

Click the 'Stats' button on your menu and from here you can check the supply/demand, prices/quality for each end product that can be sold to the NPC in the various cities.
You will find the sale price for items such as wardrobes, cars, etc. is quite high and of good quality in the 'red' cities.
In effect, all they are doing is buying low (at a price where even the original manufacturer is making a profit) and selling high to the NPC. Each person along the chain makes a profit.
It will be up to you to decide if you wish to be part of the supply chain, or make your own products and sell directly to the NPC, or a little of both.
I am new to the game myself and am only really finding out what one can accomplish with one's company.
