Out of these products which is most profitable in the long run because i just started a new company in relm 2 and i dont want to produce power there as well. here are the products:

Chemicals
Gas
Glass
Plastic
Silicon
Steel
Coal
Diamonds
Gold
Iron ore
Minerals
Quartz
Silver
Stones
NEW>>> Oil

gas or chemicals.

maybe steel if you make the materials for it youself.

I havent calculated its just my best guess

Gas by far is the best thing on that list.

Don't bother producing steel. You will only make a few caps. (Remember to take in the cost what the products are worth rather than what you can products cost you.)

Maybe GAS, don't know to much about it. But you'll also need stores to go along with the factories.
Silicon, Chemicals, and Minerals are also quite good.

New question now, whould i make more money in the long run if i sold oil? because it is worth more in the market right now?

I took a look at the Stats. Average gas quality in R2 Germany is 9.30, so it's going to be tough to compete when you are new and producing low quality. Maybe you can start with oil that you sell to another player by contract. Once your oil quality is reasonably high, you can start making gas with your own oil and research that too.

the other option would be to buy a high q gas research off the tech market, and start producing a whole butt-load of gas. It only takes q30 research to make q10 gas, not that bad, now then again, i'm on realm1, so i'm not sure how hard it is to get q30 research in r2, probably hard

just remember that now the suply of gas is above 50% of the demand so that pushes the price down on the gas.
