Auction Bidder Backing Off

How should one handle such a situation? I have just faced such a problem. I tried contacting the powers that be, but I'm afraid they didn't pay any attention to the issue.

I thought auctions were binding and strictly enforced.

They are contact: Zbombe, pearlbay or even a mod such as Knolls. They should take care of things. If not, let me know and I can hound away at them aswell.
