where do you denounce scam-artists? trust me gmbh (i'm almost sure that was his ID) tried to sell me out of nowhere 1000 wood for 1000c. this might not be against the rules but be careful with him.

You are not allowed to denouce any company on the forums as it is against the rules to post other company's names in such ways.

To report cheaters PM Zbombe or Pearlbay here on the forum.

P.S. It isn't a real company but a random event.

You know, I realize that the company that ITWD is looking at is not real, but I never did understand the prohibition against talking about companies that do business badly.

Not that it upsets me enough to seriously lobby against the prohibition, but word of mouth can make or break companies in real life, why not here?

if someone post a company as cheater here, and the "cheater" play fair, only the poster is angry about him - what happen?

not fair. but maybe the mods could create a blacklist include all cheaters

i guess, a real loooooong list

Fair point, CMB. But that can backfire on folks. Cry "cheater" too many times and you lose credibility. A falsely accused person is generally (there are exception, I'll grant you) not hurt. I could be called a bad corporation or a poor promise keeper by half the game and it wouldn't matter to those who do business with me. They know better. I am sure that applies to all of the good players here.

This is very hilarious! TrustMe GmbH is a system company and 1,000 Wood Q0 for 1,000 caps each is part of the random event. How else do you think the system will be able to notify you about a cheater a few days before the mentioned "cheater" tries to scam you? And if they know about the "cheater", why didn't they ban that company before he/she scams anybody else?

TrustMe GmbH is a system company but the problem with system companies is that the system company name is not reserved so other players can still use them.

This thread is very funny to me, but of course I can't say why without breaking the rule that makes it so funny.

Anyway, if you have a problem with any company, something you can't work out with them directly, send a PM to me or one of the other mods. Talking about it on the boards just turns into a public flaming session, in which nobody wins.

If a company is cheating, it will be banned. Seems quite useless to me to have a list of companies that don
