Power isn't free!

I hear you talking about the materials required to burn. but does anyone know what is being heated............................. Water!!! Water is needed to create the electicity that everyone wants so that would also be need to be added to the mix. Adding all these materials into producing power would destroy the power business because of the high rise in power price as more cash would be spent on resources.

oil, gas, coal, minerals will only used if you wanna to produce more power and even more faster.
water is heated to produce pwoer is right but is recycled and cooling it, to go in and make more steam, the open steam cycle is old and cost full, even for nuclear that will spread radiotion, so that is the way use closed water cycle for long term use.
and my idea didnt need another builds, changes or products is only a choice of production that you use materials to produce more at lower time, power work in day light, windmills only work at const of wind, hidroelectrics doesnt work in the dry season, when the rains reduce the water regeneration for that need close the dam so we have to wake up the propane powerplants.
well solar plants still use water what do you think drives the terbines. well there are also solar panels but are extreamly expensive.
solar plants work on reflecting the light of the sun to heat up the water and produce steam so the terbines get driven.
the reason i belive that this idea will not get accepted is because there would be so much to change at most it would go into realm 3 if there is going to be one

has a cooler in the other part of the system where they cool down the water to go heat again, they not send the warm water to the air they send after the turbine to complex system of a pipe passing trow a pool of water to cooldown and back to be warm and make steam. is a closed cycle. they didnt use more water to make more power they use the same water many times.voltage inc wrote:well solar plants still use water what do you think drives the terbines...solar plants work on reflecting the light of the sun to heat up the water and produce steam so the terbines get driven.

Heat storage allows a solar thermal plant to produce energy at night or overcast days. The advantage is that the power generation becomes reliable and can be sold for higher prices. Also, the utilization of the generator is higher which reduces cost. The general principle is to transfer the heat to a substance which can hold the heat with a high energy density.
A recent heat transfer material that has been successfully demonstrated is molten salt. Salt contains sodium, and sodium is a metal with a high heat capacity.
The PS10 solar power tower stores heat in tanks as pressurized steam at 50 bar and 285C. The steam condenses and flashes back to steam, when pressure is lowered. Storage is for one hour. It is suggested that longer storage is possible, but that has not been proven yet in an existing power plant. [24]
The proposed power plant in Cloncurry Australia will store heat in purified graphite. The plant has a power tower design. The graphite is located on top of the tower. Heat from the heliostats goes directly to the storage. Heat for energy production is drawn from the graphite. This simplifies the design. [25]
Ehh, men, i still think that power should be free. It's one of the way for newbies to earn some money. You think on what i build my little company (5.25 mil fixed assets)? Power. Only power. If someone wants to destroy power as a raw material i propose him to think about real life and life in game. These are two things. If power in real life isn't free, in game should be free.
As a new player, the first thing I tried to figure out was what product I could make without inputs. I thought, maybe the stuff from the mines... nope, need power. Maybe farming? Nope, needs water. Okay, so let's look at water. Nope, needs power. Next thing I thought was, power will of course need coal or something in order to be produced. So I didn't even check.
Now I know that power is the base for everything in this game. You can't get anything without power. So yeah, it makes sense that there is a huge profit margin on it.
Also, as long as there is SOME base material that turns cash into materials, it doesn't really matter what it is, game-wise. I mean, call it whatever you want, call it product X and it's still the same game.
