about producing minerals

Im considering producing my own minerals since i need it for my chemical production, thing is i dont wanna just start right away, I

Well for chemicals u need minerals and power and to mine minerals u need power and water so i would say if u have ur factorys all u will need is power plants and wells also remember to upgrade ur power and water production as u raise ur chemicals/minerals production a power/water shortfall can slow u down or raise the cost of ur end products

go to the help near the logout button in the top, in the frame at left below has products (g-p) click there and will show you the pdoucts of g to p. look to minerals and read.
if you need another information like buildings go to same frame in the buildings option search for the mine and see it,after go to well & mine research and see what he upgrade.

minerals price is at the moment very low so you might want to produce stones or iron ore and buy minerals to make more profit from your mines

im not after making money by producing stuff with the mine, its just for self need in my chemical production, and i got powerplant already so the only extra would be water then =)

I see building a mine as a better investment than buying minerals straight of market, even tho i most likely will continue doing so aswell.
I wont bother researching minerals (yet) so its basically just for low quality chemical production needs.

Yes, Yes, Yes,
Do try to produce everything yourself.
It will cut down on your overhead.

Personally I don't buy anything off the market,
Cept cattle which I make into leather and sell back to the market.
Iron for my steel, when I can get it cheap enough.
Some wool, that I'll make into pullovers and sell back to the market but I use my own wool for the pullovers I sell in my stores.
gas, which I'll have to start making myself since the price has risen to high in realm 1.
Occasionally some fruit if my stores are running low.

but yes, do try to make everything yourself, from start to end.
Then if your factories produce more than your stores can sell, you can always buy off the market and make it into something else and sell it back to the market for profit.
