Hey, this is Farms Electric Co Op, I have only had experience in power. I am thinking of doing a little bit of retailing and I'm wondering what would be the best to retail.

but if you are in realm 1, don't buy gas, it is too high right now.
you would be better off selling gas to the market.
I buy my gas for >15 and sell it for 21<
so I only make 6 profit at least but the market price for gas in realm one is 24 right now, below my selling price.
But I can make gas for $3, so if I sold it to the market id make $21 each instead of buying it and selling it to make only $6.
Lucky for me I've got about 1.5 million gallons stored up till the market improves.
If you are talking about in realm 2, dunno.
I only have one gas station so far and think that's all I'll ever build.
the thing is,
I only have 11 stores but it takes me 75 production buidings to keep them stocked with goods so they don't run out.
you'll generally find that to be true.
and if you are playing in realm 2 then you will have to supply yourself, as the market is too new to be good for much.
in fact in realm one it is becoming a bit of a problem too since all the new people who are signed up go to realm 2 instead of real one, there are many shortages.
and to supply yourself you might need a lot.
for TV's you will not only need an electronics factory but factories to make the glass, plastic and silicon.
You'll need mines to make the quarts and minerals
and oil wells for the oil to be turned into plastic,
plus you will have to greatly expand your power plants to keep up with the higher power needs.
but in the long run you make tons more money than most everything else.
so I'd suggest a divers production and retail portfolio for greater stability.
