So, I've been playing for about a wekk and I decided to try and determine maximum profits per hour and came up with something interesting.
First, a couple of assumptions.
I used 20m buildings with 2 employees and based all raw material costs on the current market price that I thought I could sell power for (0.04) Oil selling price was 20.
Now the interesting results
In Green
Oil - Profit per hour - 169
Water - Profit per hour - 285
In Yellow
Oil - Profit per hout - 148.5
Water - Profit per hour - 356
In Red
Oil - Profit per hour - -17
Water - Profit per hour - 142
The profit per hour for oil is the same in yellow and green if oil is 22 dollars and after that it increases faster in yellow.
However oil only becomes more profitable than water once you hit 28 dollars as selling price.
Please can someone check these calculations as I think I may have done something funny, and if not, why is oil only selling at 20 dollars. (or is that just people not checking prices?)
Question about wells. Are my calculations correct
