closed threads deleted

y arent the closed threads deleted?
i think threads which are closed should be deleted

Because first of all: if somebody has the same idea / suggestion in the future he does not need to make a new thread, but can read in the forum the reasons for why something had been denied or not or whatever...

Threads are mainly closed because the issue itself is finalized. But that does not mean, that the issue is unimportant or not interesting.

After a while closed threads will automatically disappear from the first page. So they do not disturb anybody here...
