newspaper archiving access

It would do good to new players and view old tips that they missed out before they join. Is serves as a historical memory for those who contributed to the newspaper.

Why bother, the forum is better than the paper. One or two people at most would be remembering history of their contributions. There is just not enough interested players to contribute. Did you write an article? I wrote a few but they never got published. Seems like there was only one person working on the paper who wrote well enough to actually get published. I gave up cause of a lack of feedback. I don't speak German so it made it too hard.

Yes, the forum can be better than the paper. But you are thinking too narrow minded. The newspaper can appeal to more people.
Normally, only those with more spare time actually forum troll as the forum consists of numerous threads and looking at that demoralises people to read.

It can also motivate and encourage more players to write.

But from what I heard, it doesnt seem that there is insufficient contributions but rather internal problems within those who contributes to the newspaper.

Anyway, you mean you cant speak german and it leads to miscommunication with others? What are the problems?

And voltage inc thanks for mentioning the link. Actually I knew it beforehand, however, the hyperlinks in the links doesnt work at all. You can trying reading the past newspaper and you will understand.

If I could speak German I would be able to read the German Kapitimes and get a bit of material from that. I use a translator (online) which doesn't do a very good job. You have to change the way things are said between languages and that can cause problems.

I wish there was an easy "application" which people could use so there submissions were already in an approximate format. The HTML takes too much time when dealing with many articles.

It's not easy working for nothing and it's also not easy reading all those spelling/grammar/logic mistakes.
