CMOT'S TIP OF THE WEEK
When selling your research to someone, ask them to send a contract with their old research to you first - don't accept it until you have sent out your research. This way you won't have to start from the zero again.
Example:
Before the trade:
You: Iron Ore q15
Customer: Iron Ore q5
customer sends you contract with q5 Iron Ore for a small price
you send customer a contract for iron ore q15
After the trade:
Customer: Iron Ore q15
You: Iron Ore q5
Example:
Before the trade:
You: Iron Ore q15
Customer: Iron Ore q5
customer sends you contract with q5 Iron Ore for a small price
you send customer a contract for iron ore q15
After the trade:
Customer: Iron Ore q15
You: Iron Ore q5
IMHO, unless you are selling research to rid yourself of a product you no longer trade in or sell research as your only business then it is [censored] to sell research at all. It will only aid your competition and drive the worth of your own goods down, weakening your own earning potential.
you are just shooting yourself in the ass by selling research to a market competitor.

Another week, another tip.
Here's a tip for you: "Work hard and be good to your mother."
WARNING: Use this tip at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend using it in the restaurant unless service or food was exceptionally bad!
