you should have ~5k steel in your warehouse.

Wood and Oil are high right now, good if you wanna sell to the market.
Steel is always high but you'll need the steel for upgrades.

TV's and Pullovers, Leather Jackets and gloves.
Plastic is high right now too, I just need all the plastic I make so I don't buy or sell that.

build mines to make coal and iron,
build factories to make steel,
Then use the steel for the upgrades for those mines and factories.

I have 13 E10 factories and mines,
I do at least two upgrades each day on them and use the extra steel for my other building upgrades.

but textiles are usually good for beginners, they have high profit.
If you can't make enough wool, cotton or leather yourself to keep up with your textile factories then you can still buy those items off the market and still make a nice profit.

Gas is good too, you can buy the 1 oil off the market and make 5 gas from it and sell it back to the market.
