just wondering does it count as joining the same trade syndicate is offering advantages to me which is illegal

no - if you dont trade with him, it is ok.

My collaborator plays too. And www.whatismyip.com shows our ip is the same then we at work :( We do not trade at all and its ok about 2 months. i hope in the future will not be any problem, because i always try to play very fair :)

edit: he joined the game, then i send him advertisement mail for 5000 steel event from system :)

Trade syndicates are not an in game option of kapilands. So of course it is not illegal, as long as you two don
