Cheating

Post by Guest » 11.09.2007, 22:23

1.What exactly are the rules of cheating?
- If I buy Oil for 27 by contract and I sell it at 52?
- If someone find a biggener and buy very low?
- If you find a very low price at the market?

2. How check this rules?

3. What they check?

4. When they check?

Seems like kind of a sneaky thing to do to your contract partner. But no, not inherently cheating. Because they still make a profit selling oil at 27.

That's the rule, they have to make a decent profit over what it costs to make the good. No one has, or will say exactly where the cutoff is for which product, because that just tells people what level they can get away with it.

So when you see something, ask yourself "if they sold at this price every day, would they have a growing business?" If so, then it should be fine.

2. How check this rules?
By clicking the "rules" hyperlink on the login page. Near the bottom, where it says "I accept the rules and user agreement"

All these questions refer to essentially the same section of the rules. Specifically :

you said if you raise the price you will cheat yourself. that's not cheating yourself but you are more likely that cheating on other. be more resonable, so raise the buying price, if other are buy with 45c then you just buy it with 42 or 43. you still get advantage and you are safer.

You don't want to get ban. everyone don't want to get banned too. So, how do they play? they play inside the rule. Don't take extremely advantage on other. but should take some, that's bussiness.

and for the "Who make the rules?" and the answer is the game creator make the rule.
the rule is "No extremely advantage" but not the exact number because there are a lot of cheater who want to make the deal the nearest to the exact no.
So, the admin has the right to delete or locked any account which they think and (they are sure) are cheating. For example, they will probably ban the company which bought oil for 39c if they are sure that company is cheating. and they won't lock other company who even bought at 38c if it is clear.

So, make up you mind. Will you just take big advantage on other or just a reasonable. You can lower your buying price when the price are down again. so, don't worry about that also.

I disagree here.
You can still accept the contracts at 35 if your partner sells them at that price. It is not even near to cheating like stated in the rules, because it

OK, That must have been only 5 minutes when I saw the price at 38. I guess a fair price to sell by contract is 45. Market is above 50.
