RC buildings...

In the "Red" for all 3.
- RC buildings research faster in the red area.
- The FAQ mentions Sales buildings are coded in the game to sell better in countries that have a lot of popuation. So "red" countries fit that description best. That said, the one country with the most population is not neccesarly the best choice, because to shipping to a store in another country than your headquarters (and warehouse) means you incur shipping costs each time you supply them.
In other words, if your headquarters (and warehouse) are in a country already in the zone "red", build your sale stores in the same country. If it's not, build it in whichever country has the most population at the moment (it's certain it would always be a country in red, and it's likely it would be germany)
- A factory or production building produces 25% more in "red" as well. The production costs are higher in red though, so the only exception to this are electronic factories, which certainly produce more in red as well, but at a cost making your final product hard to sell. To stay competitive, those are commonly built in green.
Another iffy building is power plants, due to the relatively low value of power on the market, compared to its raw production costs. Again, production costs more in red, but you produce more power too. When brought back to profit per hour though, you make more profit per hour with a power plant in green, if you sell power below 0.11 per unit. You make more profit per hour with a power plant in red, if you sell power above 0.11 per unit. And at exactly 0.11, both yield the same profits per hour.
