Recently about a week or 2 ago, I bought a building from a person who has over 9-figure assets (if i remember correctly) for half the cost indicated by kapitools. some of you might remember his name. I think it's XXX MOD EDIT: Please don't post the names of other companies regardless of the circumstances. He posted a fax selling some of his buildings. Yesterday when I checked his account again I was shocked to see that he had been deleted.

I am wondering if it was because he sell those cheap buildings. Concerned, I igm-ed an admin and asked him about this. He replied that XXX had indeed been banned, and if it was because of that building sale, then my account would be locked too!!! he would not reveal to a third party the reason why someone is banned.

he had sold that building to me at half price, but he still make a lot of profits compared to selling it to the system. i was not aware that this can be so serious.

well i don't know, maybe it's too premature for me to worry. but i am an avid player of this game, ever since i am introduced to the game in june by some good friends. i don't cheat in games, and never will.

what should I do?

You've reacted exactly as you sholuld have. Selling buildings below productioncost is an issue but in many cases it is necessary to sell at a low price in order to get any customer at all. For instance selling a 200m gasstation in France now is close to impossible without putting it below prod. cost. But compared to selling to the system it is profitsble.

My tib mates in tib-ft said that if i buy at >20% the cost, i should be fine. I bought 2 400sqm yellow mines from him at 3.75m each, and kapitools showed me this

Just be careful when buying bellow contruction costs, at includes the cost for materials. It is better to play it safe then get banned.

He almost tell you directly. If he would have been banned because of that building, you would be banned with him. Since it seems that you still can play the game, there must have been another reason why he got banned...
