I recently build some motorbikes and found that the production cost of the motorbike does not come close to the sum of it's parts. For exapmle:
Motorbikes
Required: 1 Piece Engines 2 Piece Tires 10 kg Plastic 2 Piece E-Components 5 kg Textiles 90 kg Steel 3000 kWh Power
Production costs: 63.00

In fact it is much more because I didn't use the market prices for most products.
I don't really get why you assume that the total prod cost is only 2130.63c
It's 63 + the costs of all the products you need (if you all buy them at the market is gonna be really pricy...
Grtz
The warehouse prices is not very reliable. There are a few reasons it would be off.
Most noteable is if you produce most of the materials yourself, your prices will be much lower. Say you produce the iron ore, coal, chemicals and steel, your warehouse price for that steel will be very low, around 30 caps. But we all know steel is worth much more.

In addition to what Serenity said, don't forget the odd bug that sometimes happens when you cancel a produce being produced. It will sometimes be listed as 0.00 or a VERY low price rather than the normal price.
I don't even bother looking at the prices in the warehouse anymore. If I want to know how much a produce costs I calculate it out myself.
