Minimum selling price question

Post by Guest » 06.08.2007, 02:51

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the minimum price I can sell a product for, without getting into trouble? eg. at what % of current market prices? sometimes I will hold small warehouse clearance sales for smaller companies in my trade organisation www.tib-ft.de

thanks

Hard to tell , but don't go to low .

as in an ex .

130 - 135 are great prices for steel .
120 is i donno , risked
100 wil get you in troubles
75 is definetly worth a ban .

Thats my point of view ;-)

But its hard to tell , go and look arround for the used prices and decide bye yourself .

I hear you worrying jin and I have to agree. 8) I think the cost of the product is very important for non kapi-official contests. Does that mean the rock bottom price of sale equals production costs? plus freight costs? :? ...

It's a pretty broad line between production costs and market sale price and this "gap" only widens when dealing through direct contract.

No trading between "in house" companies is plain. The selling company "must profit" rule is kind of sketchy. :) What equals profit? Some contests might provide a profit while incurring a smaller loss.
