You should never build a store in the green area. Spending capacity is very low there, so the prices are very low. Sell it and build it in red area and you will make much more money. The ads you put in there are lost.

I was going to post, but elwood beat me to it. Sell your grocery to the system.

For one, no sales store should be built in anything but red. Secondly, probably only in germany.

Finally, you'd be best staying away from selling foods when you are just starting. Gasoline is the best starter sales store, so go with those until you have an idea of what product you want to produce.
