Edited because ... yeah.
I have two issues with this, but perhaps you can talk me out of one or the other.
1) The first (few?) times people get an "event", they don't know what it is. That's why we constantly have to ask people to put "spoiler" in their threads on the subject. Maybe some will find stuff via search (though they could also find individual threads, many many of which exist). But for the most part, when someone gets a "warehouse flooded" message, no part of that screams "go to the forums and look for an "Event" thread.
Which means we'd still get separate threads regardless. I know you just want to have a central place for people who do know to compare, but I wouldn't want to have one focused thread and lots of baby threads.
2) Regarding making it a sticky - I really dislike having too many stickies on principle. Firstly, it makes people scroll down the page to get to the meat. But second and more importantly, the more stickies you have, the less likely anyone is to read any of them. If you go into a building and there is a sign with 2 rules on it, you'll likely look at and read those rules. If the same sign had 20 rules on it, you'd skip the whole thing.
That said, if you want to archive all the different events then that's a worthy goal. Do you only want good ones? Or also opportunities, drawbacks, near misses, etc? I'd think including all would be the better call.
