Automatic renewal of production instructions

I'd love to see the ability to tick a check box and have the option of production instructions automatically renewing when they complete.

For example, you set production in your Factory to mine 3,000 stones. When it's done, the mine would send the 3,000 stones to your warehouse, and then resume mining another 3,000 stones. It would continue doing this either until the user cancels production at some point in time, or when whatever raw material, or cash, that is needed to start the production is missing.

This would take away a good chunk of the tedious monitoring of each individual production point, and allow one to focus on the overall supply chain. It would up the stakes for that user too since one hiccup in your chain could cause all production further in the pipeline to come to a halt, and then the user would have to scramble to restart it.

This should just be an option that the user selects, not everyone might want the ability to turn over control of their supply chain to the system.

In addition, something could be built in to stop all renewal of production orders if a user doesn't log in for some number of days, a low number like 2. This would deal with the developers concern for someone going away for a vacation or some other reason and their company has been running wild in their absence.

Tasks such as transferring the items to your stores for sale should continue to be manual, since those are much more dynamic actions, and require more attention to set optimal prices and inventory levels.

This would be a kind of automation which is not desired by the creator. But administration buildings help a little to simplify the production... they do not start the production automatically, but you can start the production of more than one production building of one kind at the same time and do not need to click on every single building and enter the figures...

The amount of people that comment about automations to the game... u shud copy and paste the same response each time :P

I wonder when people will realise the game developer wants no automation!

yea ... im actually curious if the german version has much talk about this ... it would be a nice little contrast between the american business industry and ther european model hehe ...

also, if i kno im going on vacation ... i save up my resources and make one hell of a production line ... (usually a 7 day vacation... so over 170 hours of production time on all buildings!! LOL - one hell of a selling spree when i get back  )
