When I log on, first thing I do is restock my stores.
But the goods that are produced do not show up until I enter the warehouse first.
I'll try and sell printers but it will tell me I'm all out, when I try to sell it in my stores so I have to go to the warehouse first, then the stores before my new goods will show up on the store list.

Usually it is not the warehouse you have to enter, but the production menu:
if you log in, go into your warehouse, you won't see the "freshly" produced items there, unless you click onto the production menu. That is the point, when the finished products are being shifted to the warehouse. But it also means that you can sell products after clicking onto the production menu.
And that cannot be changed; it is like this in all the versions...
