Deciding between having a powerplant in green versus red, is like building for the present or the future. The powerprice will go higher than what it is now (I think this is an asumption with very litle risk).

Being in green gives a very good ROI now but soon you need to expand your plants. Now lets say you've got your plants expanded to a few hundred m2, while the powerprice is high enough for production in red (already very close), you'll see the need to change to red.

The problem is not the cost, because the initial plant is most likely already payed for and it can also be sold for some extra cash. But to build a new in red and expand it to the needed size takes a lot of time, a 300m2 takes more than 6 days. That is close to one week with no production/income...
