i already got 2 cause its getting to expensive\

but if you raise power youll feel a drop in profits cause people will make there own for mutch cheaper

as to the german version thats cause there realy not as many power producers so they can raise profits that mutch and its been running for like 2 years already

So you guys got your high prices. As for me, im starting to expand my powerplants cause prices are getting out of hand. Hopefully more players will start expanding their own powerplants aswell so we will get a fall in prices again. 0.11/1power is to high for what i concern.

same here, And power guys just moved into another busniess for more profits  . Cause youll get more money with other items. And dont make us revolte, like i dont argue when it 0.08 or even 0.09 but i have never bought power a 0.10 cause thats getting out of hand. Be rasinal and go to a other busniesse

Quick ROI analysis:

Producing power to sell at below 0.07 is a waste of capital (unless someone likes to be robbed)

At 0.07/kWh ROI on green power plants becomes reasonable (payback on expansion = 22 days )

At 0.08/kWh ROI on green power plants becomes fairly attractive (payback on expansions = 19 days)

At 0.09/kWh ROI on green power plants becomes attractive (payback 16,5 days) - Elder General Agriculture starts expanding its plants

At 0.10/kWh ROI on green power plants becomes very attractive (payback 14,7 days) - Elder General Agriculture invests 50% its funds into power plants

At 0.11/kWh ROI on green power plants becomes very very attractive (payback 13,2 days) - at that price Elder General Agriculture would invest 100% its funds into power plants as their ROI will surpass my other business lines

The numbers apply to almost all medium players on the server (above the expansion threshold). The biggies with their inflated researches most probably have better investment oppportunities. Smaller players using their basic 20m2 plants are content with smaller price. So after the power-consuming electronics contests the price will most probably drop, but not to 0.05 I hope. 0.08/kWh is something I would call a fair price.

Everything you say is correct Elder, but would the price drop after the contest?
I don't know, all those players who built an electronic factory now won't just stop producing TV's when the contest finishes, only a very small part will be sold to the system and the others will keep on producing televisions, pc's, e-components or whatever that will suck up the power. 8)

You are probably right.

I will sell my 4 20m2 electronic factories to the system, but that will decrease my power demand just by 375k daily. If I replace them by furniture factories my consumption will actually increase.

Thos contest are quinda cool, If you have noticed one contest can make The HOLE MARKET CHANGE

For one say the cotton

no power needed = less demande = smaller price = products should become cheaper (unless you try to rip people off)
Tv contest

alot of power = mutch demande = higher price = average price of all things go up   Not cool

I think they should make so there a graduale change in the power needs

but 0,08 is fair

And elder even if you invest more into your power plants i realy dought (no offence and all) that you would say bring power back to 0,08 and 0,07 There is already tons of power on the marketb just the prices are high. (read the one from knolls i think about thwe macdonald emplyer game its talks sort of aout this)
