Its quite simple, I have setup a Java IRC Client on my website, so you only need a browser and java install to run it, no need to download complicated irc programs, and doing everthing by hand.

Surf over to http://splashgame.org/index.php?option=com_mospjirc&Itemid=120
and choose your nickname, click the "Splashgame.org Channel" dropdown box, and choose what channel you want to join, either #Kapilands or #TIB-FT, if you choose the wrong one by accident, you can always join another channel with the command
