What the hell is happening to the wardrobes (adding the over 40 million wardrobes available at the market for low price) - did everyone go and build the joineries while no one built furniture stores? I dont want to even go into the low prices destroy profits blahblah thing, but it seems that those idiots are ruining the business for everyone. Because furniture stores already take 20% more time to sell the wardrobes at same price, and the trend is worrying. What if all the wardrobe sellers instead said ok we will keep the prices in retail stores at high level so we can sell quickly for high price, and we will bash the suppliers untill they sell us for almost the production price?

I emptied my stores this morning and noticed an 10hr increase in sales time, think everyone has sell out full store in 24/48hr frame of mind on most products which isnt always the besy way to retail and to sell out in 48hrs prices aren't much more than the current market prices. Must admit it's been a while since i did any calculations but i tend to sell out every 4/5 days which doesn't benefit me unless i wait for stats to update before i restock. I did make the mistake of producing only wardrobes and not considering the retailing but a year or so down the line i'm roughly self sufficent.

yeah it is a plausible explanation that everyone is just being lazy (as usual), and i am very happy that i kept my furniture stores even though i should have sold some joineries a year ago. well fortunately i have been researching tables in parallel also, so i will try to sell my high quality tables for about 2k (i expect to fail miserably though )

however i hope atleast wood prices to come down sometime in near future

I tried high Q tables either last year or the year before, they sold ok but from memory it was more like a side hobby than a business. Once you get a few decent amounts through on stats it does improve a little. Just knocked 7 hrs off sales time anyway just restocked with slightly improved stats just a shame only 1/3 of the stats was mine or it would be a little higher.

I will try it out in turkey, it seems no one is selling tables there. Today it is 8.771.....1.714,29.....¢14,77. As soon as my last wardrobes production is finished i will set for tables. Results should be seen in about a week

Someone is selling and appears to be selling them a little better prices than France, although it depends where your furniture stores are when filling stores. Obviously the profits and sales times are going to be less/slower than wardrobes so i would go with whichever area provided the slowest wardrobe sales times so at least the wardrobes are going through the best possible time. Will be interesting to see the results though gievn a little time to start retailing.

you can calculate price/quality giving the following outputs:

France: 126.7
Germany: 140.1
Turkey: 153.9

Is it correct to conclude that Turkey is the best place to sell at the moment, because price/quality is worst set by competitors?

I've always tried to factor in supply/demand also not so much with wardrobes as all my stores are in Germany so I have to fill them anyway and maybe reset if the stats look good after the stats update. With jackets on R2 supply being over say 10% and over has made huge impacts on sales times and I mean days extra sales times with jackets I'm retailing for full stores for around a month at a time so the days matter.

Do you mean that 10x10000 jackets sell faster then 1x100000?

No I mean on the Supply/demand page (next to prices/qualities) if supply hits more than 10% of demand I see a huge affect on sales times. Although I haven't done many calculations for good while.

I tend to sell 1x14,500,000 (approx) a month so I don't affect stats daily by emptying constantly. The day I empty though supply % goes pretty high.

Ok the stats on the first day of selling tables looks like this:

Turkey:
Tables ....1.282 .... 798,62 ¢ .... 4,35

The price is very low, so i hope tomorrow when i clear my stores it will be up to 2000. Anyway, today a fully stocked store with full ads sells tables q38 for 2000 caps each. The selling time is 127 hours. More info tomorrow.

Day two:

Tables... 51.878 ... 1.714,29 ¢ ... 36,40

Selling full rack of q38 tables for 2000 caps each now takes 76 hours. If i price it at 2350, it takes 125 hours. Will keep at 2350 in hope to increase stats price and speed it up even more.

How are you getting the tables onto stats did you visit last night before stats updated and then refilled this morning?

yeah i just go to furniture store admin building and then visit all stores, it collects all the revenues and doesnt interfere with selling process

Hmpfh it appears the price cap is set at 1714.29. A bit unusual since it is not rounded off. Anyway, if you sell them at 1700 it takes 47h to sell full rack, at 2000 it takes 77h, at 2300 120h. Production price is 650 something and joinery produces slightly more tables than wardrobes. It isnt really worth producing them, except if you find a buyer who only wants tables. If you do get cheap tables on market, however, it can be good business to sell them.
